I learn through experience, not being told. I’m the type who could have been told that the stove is hot, but would just have to put my hand on it just to see, because I didn’t know whether I should believe them or not. I believe that for the most part this is a good thing, because I’m not gullible, but it can be a bad thing because I can get hurt from it easily. I expect that I my teachers should let me try things for myself, but not go off recklessly doing something I could never take back. I know this is a lot to ask, but me being bull headed in life, and writing could get me in trouble very easily, and I ask that you do not oppress my freedom of speech, but guide me away from saying/writing something so controversial that it would get me into very deep trouble.

I also noticed that I learn from doing, not just sitting there and being lectured.  When we got to work on blogs, and wikis I felt that I learned a lot more.  I hope that my new teachers incorporate technology into the classroom.

There’s one other small thing that I feel helps me learn, and that is music.  I really don’t care if its listening to music, or doing a project that incorporates it, I learn better when there is a connection with music.  I ask my upcoming teacher to please incorporate music into the classroom.

My second personal cirriculum was to read two classic books.  Reading these books helped me figure out what makes a classic book.  I believe that what makes a classic book is a story that will never be forgotten, and is easy for future generations to read even though it is written in the style of that time.  I also believe that a classic book must have at least one extremely sad part that brings a tear to your eye.  From the classic books I’ve read before, I have noticed these patterns in classics I have read before, but these were even more apparent in the classics I read for this personal cirriculum project (The Bell Jar,Gone With The Wind.)  I believe that there are other things that can make a cassic, but these were the most noticable in the books I read.

Aren’t inside jokes so the best thing ever?  Like when you and your friends are cracking up doing something that has a story behind it that no one else would get and everyone around you are all staring at you like your insane… So the best thing ever!!!  But dosen’t it totally piss you off when people get the joke totally wrong or pretend like they get it when the truthfully don’t?  HeHe they are so the best things EVER!!!!

I try to tell myself this, that this is one of the few reasons I should get through this, because all these happenings were sent for is to test my strentgh and will power, and that if and when I get through this I will be a much beter person and will be able to get through the even worse because of the strentgh I gained from all of these tourtures that are not killing me.

Finally something that I’m sure is good,

but everybody still gives me crap about it,

don’t they realize that he is just what I needed, a reason to be happy,

they just need to get over it,

and actually I really don’t care what they say because he listens to me and helps me feel the warmth of happiness when I am within his arms,

so all of you who say you are my friends, would you rather have me been sad and pushed off the cliff, or have a reason to be happy even though you don’t like him?

just ask yourself that and get over it

You are pushing me back to the edge,

just as I was getting my footing again and the darkness wasn't looking so sweet,

I always suspected there was another side to you,

another side that was just as bad as the monsters that would die to get me off that cliff,

I just didn't realize that the good side I saw was a total mask,

and now I am battling you,

which is probably the hardest battle I've ever been through,

now I have too much going on to ask for a hand if I fall,

and I'm about to give up the fight and go sprawling backward,

but don't feel a sense of ssatisfaction and that it was all your doing because,

I'm giving up,

They do the stupid things we want to do, they blow up stuff, melt things, kill zombie dogs, create giant whirling vortexes and stuff people down them, sink stuff, and just generally torture Buster (the crash test dummy,) in other words the show rocks!!!  I mean they first take the scientific approach to something stupid(dangerous) and then take the thirteen year-old pyro-maniac approach which normally ends in a BOOM!!! The show is F’N SWEET!!!  If you haven’t seen it turn to Discovery Channel Wensdays at 9!!!!  As their assistant Tory says SCIENCE… IS FUN!!!
